Reviews and Ratings
The hotel Meson del Alferez is a gem with its spacious and modern rooms that are beautifully designed. The service is top-notch with super friendly and accommodating staff. The location couldn't be better, right next to Parque Juarez and surrounded by a variety of restaurants and activities. The dining experience is outstanding, especially the dishes served from Wednesday to Sunday. A fabulous stay overall with a few minor drawbacks.
My stay at the Hojo was a mixed experience. The location is fantastic, right next to Parque Juarez and a plethora of restaurants and activities, but the rooms lacked in size and had humidity issues. The service was aloof and unhelpful, with signs that the property might be sold in the future. However, the dining experience was delightful, especially from Wednesday to Sunday, with fast and delicious options available.
My stay at Hotel Meson del Alferez was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were very small, cheaply furnished, and urgently needed a fresh coat of paint. On the bright side, the room I stayed in was bigger, nicer, and had excellent service from the waitress and the attentive bartender. Unfortunately, one staff member, the lady who checked me in, gave off a bit of attitude, which wasn't pleasant.
